Raleigh is known as the 'City of Oaks,' and there’s no denying that there are plenty of opportunities to get outdoors! Great Outdoor Provision Co. wants to set you up to enjoy your time outside. We know how busy you are, so we’re open until nine at night Monday through Friday, and until six pm on Saturday and Sunday. Store manager, Robin Hannon, and his staff are just waiting for you to come by so they can answer your questions and share some of their own experiences.
We love Raleigh, and our staff members have trod over, paddled on, and pounded pavement in every part of the city. Whether you’re looking for a good backpacking trail (try the Falls Lake portion of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail!) or would like to try your hand at fly fishing (Jordan Lake, anyone?), we’ve got all the advice you need – and, more importantly, the gear to get you where you want to go.
Trying a new outdoor hobby? We have plenty of beginner’s equipment to get you on your way. Are you an old hand at what you do? We carry specialized items, including carabiners, climbing harnesses, kayak rod holders, and dehydrated food. Great Outdoor Provision Co. makes sure that you are comfortable and prepared out there in the wilderness. So go ahead, explore! We’ve got your back.
